Landsberg lands transfer coup: Daniel Jais is returning home

Shortly after the start of the new season, TSV 1882 Landsberg reported a real transfer jackpot. Centre-forward Daniel Jais has signed a contract for the Bayernliga (Bavarian League) football team for the 2016/17 season. Jais is to take to the field in his new strip for the first time on Saturday for the home game against league leaders Pullach.

The 23-year-old’s return marks the homecoming of one of the biggest talents that the district of Landsberg has produced in recent years. Jais – born in Landsberg in 1993 – passed through all of the TSV 1860 Munich youth teams and played in the Lions Regionalliga (Regional League) team for three years. He was also nominated for the Munich senior squad twice.

In 2014, Jais moved to Wacker Burghausen and most recently he played in attack for TSV Steinbach in the Regionalliga Südwest (Regional League Southwest). Despite his young age, this takes the striker to a total of 125 Regionalliga games (23 goals) already, as well as two U19 internationals.

Those responsible for the football department have been in regular contact with Daniel Jais and his father Roland for a long time. This allowed them to register an early interest when it became clear that the striker would terminate his contract with the team from Steinbach, Hesse, for sporting and personal reasons, and wanted to head home.

Jais, who rejected several offers from other clubs, is being hired as a contract amateur at TSV Landsberg. "We are delighted to bring such a high-profile player to Landsberg, Daniel will certainly provide the required boost to our attack. Without the extensive extra support from our main sponsor 3C, this commitment would not have been possible," says Hanns Haedenkamp, Principle Chairman of TSV Landsberg. 3C Managing Director, Karsten Jerschke, sees the cooperation in the transfer of Daniel Jais as a further step in the direction of a promising partnership between team and sponsor. "We had announced our intention to breathe life into our contract. Now we can put this pledge into action without delay."

Social cohesion has always been a priority for 3C-Carbon Group AG. To mark the 15th anniversary of its fundraising campaign for the AWO multi-generational house in Landsberg (MGH), the group is donating a record sum of €35,000. 3C is once again generously supporting the AWO's social projects.

In the east of the city of Landsberg, there is still a lot of 'conversion work' to be done, while in the south, things are already well underway. Since 2004, 3C-Carbon Group AG has been transforming the site of the former Lechrain barracks into a (high) technology park in a process that continues to be very dynamic. This was confirmed during a joint 'exchange meeting' on site at 3C-Ring 1, attended by Member of the Bundestag Michael Kießling, Member of the Landtag Alex Dorow (both CSU), representatives of 'Penzing Studios' and, on behalf of the city of Landsberg, Mayor Doris Baumgartl, City Architect Annegret Michler and Economic Development Officer André Köhn.

More than just a taster: 18 school pupils took advantage of the 'Training Day 2025' to gain an overview of 3C-Carbon Group AG and the apprenticeships it offers.
